Replace Throttle Valve Module Opel Astra H

Remove

1. 1. Open bonnet
2. 2. Remove engine cover
3. 3. Remove intercooler charge air hose at throttle valve module (1) • Undo 2 clamps

4. 4. Remove exhaust gas recirculation metal tube (2) • Unscrew 4x bolts (1) • Remove 2x gaskets

Note. Observe correct fitting position

5. 5. Remove intake port (1) of throttle valve module • Unscrew 2x bolts (2)

6. 6. Remove throttle valve module (1) • Unscrew 3x bolts (2)

7. 7. Clean sealing surface

Install

8. 8. Install throttle valve module • Replace seal • Tighten 3x bolts
9. 9. Install intake port of throttle valve module • Replace seal • Tighten 2x bolts
10. 10. Install exhaust gas recirculation metal tube • Replace 2x seals • Tighten 4x bolt 25 Nm

Note. Observe correct fitting position

11. 11. Attach intercooler charge air hose to throttle valve module • Tighten 2x clamp 3.5 Nm
12. 12. Install engine cover
13. 13. Close bonnet
