Replace Crankshaft Seal Ring (Front) Opel Astra H

Remove

  1. 1. Remove toothed belt
  2. 2. Detach toothed belt drive gear • Unscrew bolt • Counterhold with EN-47630 (1) in combination with KM-956-1 (2) – Tighten 4x bolts • Remove toothed belt drive gear with EN-47630

Note. Left-handed thread

  1. 3. Remove crankshaft seal ring

Note. Prise seal ring out of oil pump with suitable tool. Ensure that sealing surfaces are not damaged.

Install

  1. 4. Install crankshaft seal ring with EN-46793 (1)
  1. 5. Replace toothed belt drive gear • Put on with EN-47630 • Tighten bolt 340 Nm • Counterhold with EN-47630 • Remove EN-47630 – Unscrew 4x bolts

Note. Left-handed thread

  1. 6. Install toothed belt
