Engine Oil with Oil Filter Change Opel Astra H

Remove

1. 1. Open bonnet
2. 2. Raise vehicle by its full height
3. 3. Remove inspection cover • Unscrew 4x quick-release fittings

Important. To protect the flexible tube from escaping engine oil, KM-6613 must be attached to the flexible tube.

4. 4. Attach KM-6613 (1) to flex pipe

5. 5. Place collecting basin underneath.
6. 6. Drain engine oil • Loosen oil drain bolt • Drain engine oil • Unscrew oil drain bolt

Note. Unscrew the oil drain bolt slowly until the oil drain hole is open

7. 7. Remove oil filter • Unscrew cap (2) of oil filter housing • Remove oil filter element (1) • Replace seal ring (3)

Install

8. 8. Install oil filter • Insert new oil filter element • Tighten cover of oil filter housing 25 Nm
9. 9. Install oil drain plug • Replace seal • Tighten oil drain bolt 20 Nm
10. 10. Detach KM-6613 from flex pipe
11. 11. Fit inspection cover • Screw in 4x quick-release fittings
12. 12. Lower vehicle by its full height
13. 13. Check and correct engine oil level
14. 14. Vehicles up to MY 2005: ECO Service-Flex service plan
15. 15. Vehicles from MY 2006 onwards: ECO Service service plan
16. 16. Close bonnet
