Replace Engine Damping Block (Front) Opel Astra H

Remove

1. 1. Open bonnet
2. 2. Disconnect battery • Detach earth connection from earth terminal – Slacken nut
3. 3. Raise vehicle by its full height
4. 4. Detach the lower engine cover and right engine splash guard
5. 5. Remove engine damper block (1) • Detach from transmission – Unscrew 2x bolts • Detach from front axle body – Remove bolted connection

Install

6. 6. Install engine damper block • Attach to transmission – Tighten 2x bolt 80 Nm • Attach to front axle body – Tighten screwed joint 55 Nm
7. 7. Install lower engine cover and right engine splash guard
8. 8. Lower vehicle by its full height
9. 9. Connect battery • Attach earth connection to earth terminal – Tighten nut
10. 10. Program volatile memories
11. 11. Close bonnet
