via TECH 1 mode "F7", sub-mode "F0") and is at
operating temperature,0.6 to 1.3 ms-
adjust with the arrow key on TECH 1 to 1000 rpm0.7 to 1.5 ms

Trouble-shooting: Nominal Value: Cause of Fault:

(If nominal values are not attained)

The injection period is an internal value of the control unit.

If the injection period deviates considerably from the above values, check the following points:

1. All consumers switched off ?

2. Circuit closed ? (test step 07)

3. Integrator OK ? (test step 09)

4. 02 idle speed MSTS OK ? (test step 10)

5. 02 partial load MSTS OK ? (test step 11)

6. Transmission in position P/N ?

7. Throttle valve potentiometer OK ? (test step 04)

8. Intake manifold pressure sensor OK ? (test step 03)

9. Idle air control stepper motor OK ? (test step 06)

If all the above-mentioned check points are OK: Disconnect control unit from vehicle electrical supply (reset), repeat test

· Ignition ON

Engine at idle speed at 1500 rpm

(adjusted via TECH 1 mode "F7", sub-mode · If the customer complains,
