Knock Sensor, Remove and Install
Disconnect ground cable from battery.
Remove intake manifold support (3) from intake manifold and cylinder block.
Disconnect wiring harness plug (2) from knock sensor. Detach knock sensor (1) from cylinder block.
Attach knock sensor to cylinder block - tightening torque 20 Nm / 15 lbf. ft.
Connect wiring harness plug to knock sensor.
Attach intake manifold support to intake manifold.
Tightening torque X 10 XE: 10 Nm / 7.5 lbf. ft.
Tightening torque X 12 XE: 6 Nm / 4 lbf. ft.
Attach intake manifold support to cylinder block - tightening torque 20 Nm / 15 lbf. ft.
Connect ground cable to battery.
