Accelerator Pedal Module (APM) Replace

Remove

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Disconnect the accelerator pedal module (APM) connector locking tab from the APM connector.
3. Disconnect the APM connector.

4. Remove the bolts, three places, attaching the APM from the accelerator and brake pedal module bracket.

Install

1. Install the APM retaining bolts to the accelerator and brake pedal module bracket.

Tighten

Tighten the accelerator pedal module retaining bolts to 9 N•m (80 lb-in).

2. Connect the APM connector and the install the locking tab firmly.
