Oil Strainer Replace

Removal/Installation Procedure

Note: If you change the engine oil, reset the engine oil life by using scan tool.

1. Remove the engine undercover. Refer to Engine Under Covers Replace .
2. Drain the engine oil.
3. Remove the oil pan. Refer to Oil Pan Replace .

4. Remove the oil strainer with washer.

Tighten

Tighten the oil strainer bolt to 11 N•m (97.4 lb-in).

Tighten the oil strainer bracket bolt (bed plate outer bolt) to 35 N•m (25.8 lb-ft).
