Crankshaft Balancer Replace

Remove

1. Remove the engine undercover. Refer to Engine Under Covers Replace .
2. Drain the engine oil.
3. Remove the oil pan. Refer to Oil Pan Replace .
4. Remove the oil strainer. Refer to Oil Strainer Replace .

5. Remove the crankshaft balancer.

Install

Note: If you change the engine oil, reset the engine oil life by using scan tool.

1. Install the crankshaft balancer.

Tighten

Tighten the crankshaft balancer bolts to 55 N•m (46 lb-ft).

2. Turn the crankshaft and align the crankshaft balancer 3-point on the gears.

Important: Do not disassemble the crankshaft balancer. Otherwise, the engine and body may be liable to vibrate.
