Engine Control Module Replace

Remove

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the beauty cover. Refer to Beauty Cover Replace
3. Disconnect the ECM connectors.
4. Press the ECM retaining clip between the ECM and bracket using by common plate driver and simultaneously extract the ECM from the bracket upward.

5. Remove the ECM bracket.

Install

1. Install the ECM bracket and tighten the retaining nuts to 15 N·m (11.1 lb ft).

2. Install the ECM.

Note : If Replaced the New ECM, Reprogram the ECM for the Injectors Using by Scan Tool.

3. Connect the ECM connectors.
4. Install the beauty cover. Refer to Beauty Cover Replace .
5. Connect the negative battery cable.
