How to Replace the Oxygen Sensor, Mixture Regulation Opel Astra H

1. 1. Open bonnet
2. 2. Disconnect battery • Detach ground connection from ground terminal – Slacken nut
3. 3. Disconnect wiring harness for oxygen sensor • Disconnect wiring harness plug (1) • Unclip plug from bracket

4. 4. Detach oxygen sensor wiring harness (1) from cooling module • Unclip 2x from bracket (2)

5. 5. Raise vehicle by its full height
6. 6. Remove oxygen sensor

Install

7. 7. Install oxygen sensor • Coat thread of oxygen sensor with assembly paste (white) • Tighten oxygen sensor 45 Nm

Note. New oxygen sensors are already pre-treated

8. 8. Lower vehicle by its full height
9. 9. Attach oxygen sensor wiring harness to cooling module • Clip 2x in bracket
10. 10. Connect wiring harness for oxygen sensor • Clip wiring harness plug into bracket • Connect wiring harness plug
11. 11. Connect battery • Attach ground connection to ground terminal – Tighten nut
12. 12. Program volatile memories
13. 13. Close bonnet
