With the Astra-H convertible with the Z 19 DTH diesel engine, the designation of the engine management will change from EDC 16 C 9 to EDC 16 C 39.
With the EDC 16 C 39 it is now possible that the control or the rail pressure is being controlled solely by the metering unit (ZME). All the other changes affect the safety concept and are included in the software.
This change will flow into all Z 19 DTH and Z 19 DTL engines in the various models with a time delay.
