Replace EGR Cooler Opel Astra H

DOHC Diesel Engine 1 illustration

Remove

1. Remove EGR valve
2. Detach cooler for exhaust recirculation (1) from exhaust recirculation valve (4) • Detach 2x coolant hose (2) and (3) from exhaust gas recirculation cooler – Undo 2 clamps • Unscrew 3 bolts

Replace EGR Cooler

Install

3. Clean sealing surface
4. Attach exhaust gas recirculation cooler to exhaust gas recirculation valve • Insert new gasket • Tighten 3x bolt 25 Nm • Attach 2x coolant hose to EGR cooler – Attach 2x clamps
5. Install EGR valve
