DTC P1195: EGR BOOST SENSOR (1.8L) Kia Sephia I рестайлинг

EGR boost sensor code may be set by

1. EGR boost sensor malfunction.
2. Open or short circuit between EGR boost sensor terminal No. 3 and PCM connector C254 terminal No. 5.
3. Open or short circuit between EGR boost sensor terminal No. 2 and PCM connector C254 terminal No. 12.
4. Open circuit between EGR boost sensor terminal No. 1 and PCM connector C254 terminal No. 8.

1. Check PCM and EGR boost sensor connectors. Repair as needed. Go to next step.
2. Check PCM pin voltage at connector C254 terminal No. 12. See «PIN VOLTAGE CHARTS»(ref-25101) article. If voltage is out of specification, go to next step. If voltage is correct, go to step 5).
3. Disconnect EGR boost sensor connector. Turn ignition on. Check voltage at EGR boost sensor connector terminal No. 2. If 5 volts exists, go to next step. If 5 volts does not exist, check voltage at PCM connector C254 terminal No. 5. If 5 volts exists, repair wiring and go to next step. If 5 volts does not exist, replace PCM with a known-good PCM and retest.
4. Check continuity between EGR boost sensor connector terminal No. 1 and PCM connector C254 terminal No. 8. If continuity exists, go to next step. If continuity does not exist, repair or replace wiring.
5. Clear code. Recheck codes. If code returns, replace PCM. If code does not return, problem is intermittent.
