DTC P0100: MAF CIRCUIT MALFUNCTION Kia Sephia I рестайлинг

MAF circuit malfunction code may be set by

  1. MAF malfunction.
  2. Open or short circuit between main relay terminal No. 4 and MAF sensor terminal No. 1.
  3. Open or short circuit between PCM connector C254 terminal No. 9 and MAF sensor terminal No. 2.
  4. Open circuit between PCM connector C249 terminal No. 1 and MAF sensor terminal No. 4.
  1. Check MAF and PCM connections. Repair as needed. Go to next step.
  2. Check PCM pin voltage at connector C254 terminal No. 9. See «PIN VOLTAGE CHARTS»(ref-25101) article. If voltage is in specifications, go to step 6). If voltage is out of specifications, go to next step.
  3. Disconnect MAF connector. Turn ignition on. Using voltmeter, check voltage at MAF connector terminal No. 1. If battery voltage exists, go to next step. If battery voltage does not exist, repair open circuit between EGI relay terminal No. 4 and MAF sensor connector terminal No. 1.
  4. Turn ignition off. Check continuity between PCM connector C249 terminal No. 1 and MAF sensor connector terminal No. 4. If continuity exists, go to next step. If continuity does not exist, repair open circuit.
  5. Check continuity between PCM connector C254 terminal No. 9 and MAF sensor connector terminal No. 2. If continuity exists, replace MAF sensor. If continuity does not exist, repair open circuit.
  6. Clear code. Recheck codes. If code returns, replace PCM. If code does not return, problem is intermittent.
