DTC P0510: CLOSED THROTTLE SWITCH MALFUNCTION Kia Sephia I рестайлинг

Closed throttle position switch malfunction code may be set by

1. Closed throttle position switch malfunction.
2. Open or short circuit between closed throttle position switch terminal No. 2 and PCM connector C254 terminal No. 14.

1. Check MAF and closed throttle position switch connections. Repair as needed. Go to next step.
2. Check PCM pin voltage at connector C254 terminal No. 14. See «PIN VOLTAGE CHARTS»(ref-25101) article in this section. If voltage is okay, go to step 5). If voltage is out of specification go to next step.
3. Turn ignition off. Check continuity between PCM connector C254 terminal No. 14 and closed throttle position switch connector terminal No. 2. If continuity exists, go to next step. If continuity does not exist, repair open circuit.
4. Check closed throttle position switch. See CLOSED THROTTLE POSITION SWITCH in «SYSTEM/COMPONENT TESTS»(ref-25100) article. Replace switch as needed. Go to next step.
5. Clear code. Recheck codes. If code returns, replace PCM. If code does not return, problem is intermittent.
