DTC P0335: CRANKSHAFT POSITION SENSOR CIRCUIT MALFUNCTION Kia Sephia I рестайлинг

Crankshaft position sensor circuit malfunction code may be set by

1. Crankshaft position sensor malfunction.
2. Open or short circuit between crankshaft position sensor terminal No. 2 and PCM connector C249 terminal No. 3.
3. Open or short circuit between crankshaft position sensor terminal No. 1 and PCM connector C249 terminal No. 17.

1. Check PCM and crankshaft position sensor connectors. Repair as needed. Go to next step.
2. Disconnect crankshaft position sensor. Check continuity between crankshaft position sensor connector terminal No. 2 and PCM connector C249 terminal No. 3. Check continuity between crankshaft position sensor connector terminal No. 1 and PCM connector C249 terminal No. 17. Repair or replace wiring as needed. Go to next step.
3. Check crankshaft position sensor air gap. See «ADJUSTMENTS»(ref-25084) article. Repair or replace as needed. Go to next step.
4. Check crankshaft position sensor. See «SYSTEM/COMPONENT TESTS»(ref-25100) article. Replace as needed. Go to next step.
5. Clear code. Recheck codes. If code returns, replace PCM. If code does not return, problem is intermittent.
