DTC P0450: EVAP PRESSURE SENSOR CIRCUIT MALFUNCTION Kia Sephia I рестайлинг

Evaporative emission control system pressure sensor circuit malfunction code (1.8L only) may be set by

  1. Fuel tank pressure sensor malfunction.
  2. Open or short circuit between tank pressure sensor terminal No. 2 and PCM connector C254 terminal No. 1.
  3. Open or short circuit between tank pressure sensor terminal No. 1 and PCM connector C254 terminal No. 5.
  4. Open circuit between tank pressure sensor terminal No. 3 and PCM connector C254 terminal No. 8.
  1. Check PCM and tank pressure sensor connectors. Repair as needed. Go to next step.
  2. Check PCM pin voltage at connector C254 terminal No. 1. See «PIN VOLTAGE CHARTS»(ref-25101) article. If voltage is in specifications, go to step 6). If voltage is out of specifications, go to next step.
  3. Disconnect tank pressure sensor. Turn ignition on. Check voltage at tank pressure sensor connector terminal No. 1. If 5 volts exist, go to next step. If 5 volts does not exist, repair open or short circuit between tank pressure sensor terminal No. 1 and PCM connector C254 terminal No. 5.
  4. Check continuity between tank pressure sensor terminal No. 2 and PCM connector C254 terminal No. 1. If continuity exists, go to next step. If continuity does not exist, repair wiring.
  5. Check continuity between tank pressure sensor terminals No. 1 and PCM connector C254 terminal No. 8. If continuity exists, go to next step. If continuity does not exist, repair or replace wiring. If wiring is okay, replace sensor.
  6. Clear code. Recheck codes. If code returns, replace PCM. If code does not return, problem is intermittent.
