DTC P0470: EGR PRESSURE SENSOR CIRCUIT MALFUNCTION Kia Sephia I рестайлинг

EGR pressure sensor circuit malfunction code may be set by

1. EGR pressure sensor malfunction.
2. Damaged or loose vacuum hose.
3. Open or short circuit between PCM connector C254 terminal No. 15 and EGR pressure sensor terminal No. 1.
4. Open or short circuit between PCM connector C254 terminal No. 5 and EGR pressure sensor terminal No. 2.
5. Open or short circuit between PCM connector C254 terminal No. 12 and EGR pressure sensor terminal No. 4.
6. Open circuit between PCM connector C254 terminal No. 8 and EGR pressure sensor terminal No. 3.

1. Check PCM and EGR pressure sensor connectors. Repair as needed. Go to next step.
2. Check vacuum hose. Repair as needed. Go to next step.
3. Disconnect EGR pressure sensor connector. Turn ignition on. Check voltage at EGR pressure sensor connector terminal No. 2. If 5 volts exists, go to next step. If 5 volts does not exist, check voltage at PCM connector C254 terminal No. 5. If 5 volts exists, repair wiring and go to next step. If 5 volts does not exist, replace PCM with a known good PCM and retest.
4. Check continuity between PCM connector C254 terminal No. 15 and EGR pressure sensor terminal No. 1. If continuity exists, go to next step. If continuity does not exist, repair wiring between PCM connector C254 terminal No. 15 and EGR pressure sensor terminal No. 1.
5. Clear code. Recheck codes. If code returns, replace PCM. If code does not return, problem is intermittent.
