How to Replace the Piston Opel Zafira B

Remove

  1. 1. Remove piston with con-rod – see operation "Piston with Con-rod, Remove and Install".
  2. 2. Before removing piston pin, note installation position of con-rod and piston. Remove retaining ring (1) from piston boss with suitable tool. Remove piston pin from piston and con-rod by hand. Install, attach
  3. 3. Coat piston pin with engine oil. Press piston pin (2) by hand into piston and con-rod until ring groove is accessible. Insert retaining ring in ring groove of piston.
  4. 4. Install piston with con-rod – see operation "Piston with Con-rod, Remove and Install".
