How to Remove and Install the Mixture Regulating Oxygen Sensor Opel Zafira B

Caution

Remove mixture regulation oxygen sensor only with engine at operating temperature.

Remove

1. 1. Disconnect wiring harness plug for mixture regulating oxygen sensor (2).
2. 2. Expose wiring harness for mixture regulating oxygen sensor (3) – note routing.
3. 3. Remove mixture regulating oxygen sensor (1) from exhaust manifold. Caution When re-using mixture control oxygen sensor, coat thread of mixture control oxygen sensor with special grease (black).

Install

4. 4. Install mixture regulating oxygen sensor into exhaust manifold – Tightening torque 30 Nm / 22 lbf. ft ,
5. 5. Connect wiring harness plug for mixture regulation oxygen sensor.
6. 6. Route mixture regulating oxygen sensor wiring harness.
