Engine Cooling Module Control Unit
Petrol engines X 16 XEL and X 18 XE1 with AC, as well as diesel engine X 20 DTL with and without AC, feature an engine cooling module control unit. As in the Astra-G, the engine cooling module control unit actuates the radiator fans and switches the AC compressor.
This is not applicable for petrol engines X 16 XEL and X 18 XE1 without AC. In these equipment versions, the radiator fan is actuated via the engine control unit and fan relay.
