How to Replace the Bypass Valve Opel Zafira B

Remove

1. Remove oil filter – see operation "Oil Filter, Replace".
2. Remove thermostat housing (heat exchanger) – see operation "Thermostat Housing (Heat Exchanger), Remove and Install",
3. Using tap (1) (M10 – 3rd speed) cut thread in shutter disc, screw in M10 bolt and remove bypass valve from seat.

How to Replace the Bypass Valve

Install

4. Install bypass valve – drive in to stop using drift ( Ø approx. 15 mm).
5. Install thermostat housing (heat exchanger) – see operation "Thermostat Housing (Heat Exchanger), Remove and Install",
6. Install oil filter – see operation "Oil Filter, Replace".

Inspect

7. Check engine oil level and correct if necessary.
