How to Replace the Temperature Sensor, Diesel Particulate Filter Opel Vivaro A

Remove

1. 1. Raise vehicle
2. 2. Release temperature sensor from support bracket for exhaust heat shield • Disconnect harness connector (1) • Release clip (2) • Release from clip

3. 3. Remove temperature sensor from diesel particulate filter • Counterhold adapter (1) and release union (2) • Install 2x new blanking plug

Install

4. 4. Install new clip to new temperature sensor harness connector • Push on
5. 5. Install temperature sensor to diesel particulate filter • Remove 2x blanking plug • Apply sealant to temperature sensor – see “Sealants, Lubricants and Locking Compounds” • Counterhold adapter (1) and secure union (2) 30 Nm

6. 6. Secure temperature sensor to support bracket for exhaust heat shield • Connect harness connector (1) • Secure clip (2) • Secure to clip

7. 7. Lower vehicle
