1. Before performing ANY work on the fuel system or its components, switch OFF the ignition and wait until the pressure has dropped sufficiently (approximately 30 seconds). This waiting period is absolutely essential for the injector rail to be depressurised.
2. Disconnect battery negative lead
3. Remove engine cover
- Remove 3x cap (1)
- Remove 3x bolt
4. Disconnect harness connector (1) from fuel pressure sensor
5. Remove fuel pressure sensor (1) from common rail
Note. Clean fuel injection system area before removing fuel pressure sensor.
- Install 2x new blanking plug
6. Install new fuel pressure sensor to common rail (1) 35 Nm
- Remove 2x blanking plug
- Install new seal ring
7. Connect harness connector (1) fuel pressure sensor
8. Install engine cover
- Install 3x bolt
- Install 3x cap (1)
9. Connect battery negative lead
10. Program all volatile memories
