How to Replace the Coolant Temperature Sensor Opel Vivaro A

Remove

1. 1. Remove engine cover – see operation “Engine Cover, Remove and Install (G9U 730)”
2. 2. Disconnect harness connector (1) from coolant temperature sensor • Release clip

3. 3. Remove coolant temperature sensor (1) from thermostat housing • Remove clip (arrowed)

Install

4. 4. Install new coolant temperature sensor (1) to thermostat housing • Install new O ring, clip (arrowed)

5. 5. Connect harness connector (1) to coolant temperature sensor

6. 6. Install engine cover – see operation “Engine Cover, Remove and Install (G9U 730)”
7. 7. Bleed cooling system – see operation “Cooling System, Drain and Refill”
