The timing belt casing is in two parts. The lower part (4) is secured to the engine by nine bolts. The top cover (1) is an aluminium casting which is part of the engine mounting arrangement. It is secured to an engine-mounted bracket (3) and the cylinder head by bolts. The damping block bracket (not shown) is secured to the bracket (3) by two bolts that pass through bolt holes (2) in the top cover.
The bracket (3) is secured to the engine by three bolts.
