Engine Survey
The M9R 780 engine introduced for Vivaro MY 2007 is available with a choice of two power outputs, a low output of 66 kW and a high output of 84 kW. The different power outputs are controlled by programs set with the engine ECUs.

- Camshafts chain driven from crankshaft
- Common rail, up to 1600 bar, with piezo electric injectors
- Bosch EDC16 CP33 engine management system
- Water-cooled exhaust gas recirculation system
- Exhaust emissions that comply with Euro IV standards
- Variable geometry turbocharger with air-cooled intercooler
- Reinforced cylinder block base plate for improved acoustics
