How to Replace the Support Bracket, Engine Damping Block, Right Opel Vivaro A

DOHC Diesel Engine 10 illustrations ~278 words

Remove

  1. 1. Disconnect battery negative lead
  2. 2. Raise vehicle
  3. 3. Remove engine and transmission undershield from vehicle • Remove 6x bolt
  4. 4. Remove right splash panel • Release washer hose from 2x clip • Remove 2x bolt, screw
  1. 5. Remove left splash panel • Remove 2x bolt, screw
  2. 6. Install Engine Support KM-6210-A to vehicle – see operation “Engine Support KM-6210-A, Install and Remove”
  1. 7. Lower vehicle
  2. 8. Release power steering reservoir from front panel, then move to side • Release from integral clip
  1. 9. Release harness (1) and fuel pipe (2) from support bracket • Release from clip
  1. 10. Remove support bracket (1) from engine • Remove 4x bolt (2), nut (3)

Install

Important. Ensure 3x bolt (2, 3, 4) are secured in correct sequence.

  1. 11. Install support bracket to engine • Install 3x bolt in sequence (3, 4, 2) 10 Nm • Secure 3x bolt in sequence (3, 4, 2) 65 Nm • Secure bolt (1) 44 Nm • Secure nut (5) 44 Nm
  1. 12. Secure harness (1) and fuel pipe (2) to support bracket • Secure to clip
  1. 13. Secure power steering reservoir to front panel • Secure to integral clip
  1. 14. Raise vehicle
  2. 15. Remove Engine Support KM-6210-A from vehicle
  1. 16. Install right splash panel • Secure washer hose to 2x clip • Install 2x bolt 8 Nm , screw 6 Nm
  1. 17. Install left splash panel • Install 2x bolt 8 Nm , screw 6 Nm
  2. 18. Install engine and transmission undershield to vehicle • Install 6x bolt 6 Nm
  3. 19. Lower vehicle
  4. 20. Connect battery negative lead
  5. 21. Program all volatile memories
