How to Replace the Support Bracket, Engine Stabiliser, Upper Opel Vivaro A

DOHC Diesel Engine 6 illustrations ~226 words

Remove

  1. 1. Disconnect battery negative lead
  2. 2. Raise vehicle
  3. 3. Remove engine and transmission undershield from vehicle • Remove 6x bolt
  4. 4. Remove right splash panel • Release washer hose from 2x clip • Remove 2x bolt, screw
  1. 5. Remove left splash panel • Remove 2x bolt, screw
  2. 6. Install Engine Support KM-6210-A to vehicle – see operation “Engine Support KM-6210-A, Install and Remove”
  1. 7. Lower vehicle
  2. 8. Remove support bracket (4) from upper engine stabiliser (2) and chassis • Remove bolt (5) • Remove 2x bolt (1, 3)

Install

  1. 9. Install new support bracket (4) to upper engine stabiliser (2) and chassis • Install bolt (5); do not tighten at this stage • Install 2x bolt (1, 3); do not tighten at this stage • Secure bolt (5) 44 Nm • Secure bolt (3) 44 Nm • Secure bolt (1) 100 Nm
  1. 10. Raise vehicle
  2. 11. Remove Engine Support KM-6210-A from vehicle
  1. 12. Install right splash panel • Secure washer hose to 2x clip • Install 2x bolt 8 Nm , screw 6 Nm
  1. 13. Install left splash panel • Install 2x bolt 8 Nm , screw 6 Nm
  2. 14. Install engine and transmission undershield to vehicle • Install 6x bolt 6 Nm
  3. 15. Lower vehicle
  4. 16. Connect battery negative lead
  5. 17. Program all volatile memories
