DTC P0522: EOP Sensor Circuit Low Voltage Honda Civic VIII рестайлинг

Note. Before you troubleshoot, record all freeze data and any on-board snapshot, and review the general troubleshooting information (see GENERAL TROUBLESHOOTING INFORMATION ). Information marked with an asterisk (*) applies to '07-11 model.

  1. Turn the ignition switch ON (II).
  2. Check the OIL PRESSURE SENSOR in the DATA LIST with the HDS. Is there about 0.18 V or less? YES - Go to step 3. NO - Intermittent failure, the system is OK at this time. Check for poor connections or loose terminals at the EOP sensor and the ECM/PCM.
  3. Turn the ignition switch OFF.
  4. Disconnect the EOP sensor 3P connector.
  5. Turn the ignition switch ON (II).
  6. Check the OIL PRESSURE SENSOR in the DATA LIST with the HDS. Is there about 0.18 V or less? YES - Go to step 8 . NO - Go to step 7.
  7. Measure voltage between EOP sensor 3P connector terminals No. 1 and No. 3. Is there about 5 V? YES - Go to step 16 . NO - Go to step 12 .
  8. Turn the ignition switch OFF.
  9. Jump the SCS line with the HDS.
  10. Disconnect ECM/PCM connector C (44P).
  11. Check for continuity between EOP sensor 3P connector terminal No. 2 and body ground. Is there continuity? YES - Repair short in the wire between the ECM/PCM (C22) and the EOP sensor, then go to step 18 . NO - Go to step 24 .
  12. Turn the ignition switch OFF.
  13. Jump the SCS line with the HDS.
  14. Disconnect ECM/PCM connector C (44P) (B (44P))\
  15. Check for continuity between ECM/PCM connector terminal C13 (B18)* and EOP sensor 3P connector terminal No. 1. Is there continuity? YES - Go to step 24 . NO - Repair open in the wire between the ECM/PCM (C13) (B18)* and the EOP sensor, then go to step 18 .
  16. Turn the ignition switch OFF.
  17. Replace the EOP sensor (see «EOP SENSOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION»(ref-255541-S27740896892007060300000) ).
  18. Reconnect all connectors.
  19. Turn the ignition switch ON (II).
  20. Reset the ECM/PCM with the HDS.
  21. Do the ECM/PCM idle learn procedure (see «ECM/PCM IDLE LEARN PROCEDURE»(ref-255517-S24591238122007060300000) ).
  22. Check for Temporary DTCs or DTCs with the HDS. Is DTC P0522 indicated? YES - Check for poor connections or loose terminals at the EOP sensor and the ECM/PCM, then go to step 1 . NO - Go to step 23.
  23. Monitor the OBD STATUS for DTC P0522 in the DTCs MENU with the HDS. Does the screen indicate PASSED? YES - Troubleshooting is complete. If any other Temporary DTCs or DTCs were indicated in step 22 , go to the indicated DTCs troubleshooting. NO - If the screen indicates FAILED, check for poor connections or loose terminals at the EOP sensor and the ECM/PCM, then go to step 1 . If the screen indicates NOT COMPLETED, keep idling until a result comes on.
  24. Reconnect all connectors.
  25. Update the ECM/PCM if it does not have the latest software (see «ECM/PCM UPDATE»(ref-355126-S21746322412010012000000) ), or substitute a known-good ECM/PCM (see «SUBSTITUTING THE ECM/PCM»(ref-379879-S00676494072010121600000) ).
  26. Start the engine, and let it idle.
  27. Check for Temporary DTCs or DTCs with the HDS. Is DTC P0552 indicated? YES - Check for poor connections or loose terminals at the EOP sensor and the ECM/PCM. If the ECM/PCM was updated, substitute a known-good ECM/PCM (see «SUBSTITUTING THE ECM/PCM»(ref-379879-S00676494072010121600000) ), then go to step 26 . If the ECM/PCM was substituted, go to step 1 . NO - Go to step 28.
  28. Monitor the OBD STATUS for DTC P0522 in the DTCs MENU with the HDS. Does the screen indicate PASSED? YES - If the ECM/PCM was updated, troubleshooting is complete. If the ECM/PCM was substituted, replace the original ECM/PCM (see «ECM/PCM REPLACEMENT»(ref-355126-S35548339322010012000000) ). If any other Temporary DTCs or DTCs were indicated in step 27 , go to the indicated DTCs troubleshooting. NO - If the screen indicates FAILED, check for poor connections or loose terminals at the EOP sensor and the ECM/PCM. If the ECM/PCM was updated, substitute a known-good ECM/PCM (see «SUBSTITUTING THE ECM/PCM»(ref-379879-S00676494072010121600000) ), then go to step 26 . If the ECM/PCM was substituted, go to step 1 . If the screen indicates NOT COMPLETED, keep idling until a result comes on.
