Valve Stem Oil Seals, Replacing (engine Code Aew) Audi A8 D2

(with cylinder head installed)

1. Remove camshaft and valve lifters.
2. Remove spark plugs.
3. Rotate crankshaft by hand to set piston of relevant cylinder to Bottom Dead Center (BDC).
4. Thread pressure hose VW 653/3 with seal into spark plug hole until hand-tight, then apply continuous air pressure of at least 6 bar (87 psi).
