Engine oil capacity (w/filter): 7.5 L (8.0 qt.).
The engine oil is factory filled with a special quality multigrade oil which can be used as an all-season oil, except in extremely cold climates.
The specifications stated on these pages must be indicated on the container, either individually or in combination with other specifications.
Mixing oils when topping up is permissible.
Select the viscosity classification according to the chart shown. The oil does not need to be changed if the outside temperature only briefly exceeds the specified range.
A - Multi-grade-high lubricity oils, specification VW 500 00 1)
A - Multi-grade-high lubricity oils, specification VW 501 01 1)
A - Multi-grade-high lubricity oils, specification API-SJ or API-SL 2)
