Replace Oil Dipstick Entry Pipe Opel Astra G

Remove

1. 1. Open bonnet
2. 2. Slacken oil dipstick entry pipe (2) • Remove from cylinder head – 1 bolt (3) – Remove engine transport shackle (1)

3. 3. Raise vehicle
4. 4. Place collecting basin underneath.
5. 5. Remove oil filter
6. 6. Remove oil dipstick entry pipe • Draw oil dipstick entry pipe out of the oil pan and remove from below

Install

7. 7. Install oil dipstick entry pipe • Replace sealing ring • Insert oil dipstick entry pipe into oil pan
8. 8. Wet sealing ring with oil
9. 9. Install oil filter
10. 10. Lower vehicle
11. 11. Fit dipstick guide tube with engine transport shackle • 1 bolt – Tightening torque 25 Nm
12. 12. Check and correct oil level
13. 13. Close bonnet
