How to Replace the Dis Ignition Module Control Unit Opel Astra G

DOHC Petrol Engine 2 illustrations
  1. 1. Open bonnet
  2. 2. Disconnect battery.
  3. 3. Remove engine cover (1) • Remove closure cap (2) from oil filler aperture
  1. 4. Remove ignition module control unit • Release wiring harness plug and remove • 3 bolts (1)
  2. 5. Attach ignition module control unit • Insert bolts coated with bolt locking compound (red). • 3 bolts – Tightening torque 9 Nm . • Connect wiring harness plug and lock.
  3. 6. Install engine cover. • Install closure cap of oil filler aperture
  4. 7. Connect battery.
  5. 8. Program volatile memories
  6. 9. Close bonnet
