Replace Engine Vent Pipe (Cylinder Head Cover/suction Pipe) Opel Astra G

Remove

1. 1. Open bonnet
2. 2. Remove air cleaner housing (5) and air intake manifold (3) • 1 mass air flow meter wiring harness plug (4) • Unclip tank ventilation hose (1) • 1 fastening bolt (2) • 1 clip

3. 3. Unclip cable channel • From cylinder head
4. 4. Remove engine vent pipe (1) • From cylinder head cover (3) – Detach safety clamp (2)

5. 5. Remove wiring harness (2) from intake manifold • 3 bolts
6. 6. Remove engine vent pipe (1) from intake manifold • 2 bolts (3) • Remove O-ring

Install

7. 7. Fit engine vent pipe onto intake manifold • Use new O-ring • 2 bolts
8. 8. Fit wiring bracket onto intake manifold • 3 bolts
9. 9. Clip on cable channel • On cylinder head
10. 10. Fit engine vent pipe • On cylinder head – Ensure correct fitting
11. 11. Install air cleaner housing and air intake manifold • Place 1 mass air flow meter wiring harness plug • Clip in tank ventilation hose • 1 fastening bolt • 1 clip – Tightening torque 3.5Nm
12. 12. Close bonnet
