Replace Fan Casing (Z 20 NET, AC, Rhd, Mt) Opel Vectra C

Cooling System 4 illustrations ~379 words

Remove

  1. 1. Open bonnet
  2. 2. Detach upper engine cover
  3. 3. Disconnect battery. • Detach ground cable
  4. 4. Raise vehicle
  5. 5. Remove charge air hose (1) • Release 2x clamp
  6. 6. Release charge air pipe • Remove bolt • Unclip wiring harness
  7. 7. Lower vehicle
  8. 8. Remove charge air pipe • Disconnect wiring harness plug for charge air temperature/pressure • Detach vacuum hose • Release clamp – To throttle valve module • Remove bolt
  1. 9. Detach cooling module wiring harness plug (1) • Unclip wiring harness (2)
  1. 10. Remove battery holder cover • Unclip coolant hose
  2. 11. Remove battery. • Detach positive cable • Remove battery bracket – Remove bolt
  3. 12. Remove battery support. • Disconnect ground distribution – Remove bolt (4) • Disconnect positive distribution – Remove bolt (2) • Unscrew 3x bolt (3) • Unclip coolant hose (1)
  1. 13. Remove fan housing • Unclip coolant line • Unscrew 2x bolt (arrows)

Note. Remove fan housing upwards carefully

  1. 14. Detach fan motor on the left • Disconnect wiring harness plug • Unscrew 3x bolt (1)
  2. 15. Detach fan motor on the right • Disconnect wiring harness plug • Unscrew 3x bolt (2)
  3. 16. Attach fan motor on the right • Tighten 3x bolt • Connect wiring harness plug.

Install

  1. 17. Attach fan motor on the left • Tighten 3x bolt • Connect wiring harness plug.
  2. 18. Install fan housing • Tighten 2x bolt • Clip in coolant line

Note. Carefully insert fan housing

  1. 19. Attach cooling module wiring harness plug • Attach wiring harness
  2. 20. Install battery support • Tighten 3x bolt – Tightening torque 15 Nm • Attach ground distribution – Tighten bolt • Attach positive distribution – Tighten bolt • Attach wiring harness • Clip in coolant hose.
  3. 21. Install battery. • Attach positive cable • Attach cover • Install battery bracket – Tighten bolt
  4. 22. Fit battery holder cover
  5. 23. Fit charge air pipe • Tighten bolt • Connect wiring harness plug. • Connect vacuum hose. • Fasten clamp
  6. 24. Raise vehicle
  7. 25. Attach charge air pipe • Tighten bolt • Attach wiring harness
  8. 26. Fit charge air hose
  9. 27. Lower vehicle
  10. 28. Connect battery.
  11. 29. Attach upper engine cover
  12. 30. Close bonnet
  13. 31. Program volatile memories
