Remove and Install Coolant Pump Opel Vectra C

Remove

1. 1. Remove right engine damping block
2. 2. Raise vehicle by its entire height
3. 3. Drain coolant • Place collecting basin underneath. • Attach a suitable hose to the drain connection • Open coolant drain bolt (arrow) • Drain coolant – Close coolant drain bolt

4. 4. Loosen lower engine damping block support • Loosen bolt (1)

5. 5. Lower vehicle by its entire height
6. 6. Remove right engine damping block support • Unscrew 3 bolts (arrows)

7. 7. Remove ribbed V-belt
8. 8. Remove coolant pump drive disc (2) • Unscrew 4x bolt – Counterhold with EN-46104 (1)

9. 9. Place collecting basin underneath.
10. 10. Remove coolant pump (2) • Unscrew 6 bolts (1)

Install

11. 11. Install coolant pump • Use new gasket • Tighten 6x bolt 10 Nm
12. 12. Install coolant pump drive disc • Tighten 4x bolt 10 Nm – Counterhold with EN-46104
13. 13. Insert ribbed V-belt
14. 14. Install right engine damping block support • Tighten 3x bolt 55 Nm • Attach power steering line bracket – Tighten bolt
15. 15. Raise vehicle by its entire height
16. 16. Fasten engine damping block support below • Tighten bolt 55 Nm
17. 17. Install right engine damping block
