Replacing Injection Valves Opel Corsa D

Remove

  1. 1. Remove throttle valve module
  2. 2. Release fuel pressure with KM-J-34730-91 (2) via test connection • Unscrew protective cap (1)

Note. Collect exiting fuel in a suitable container - observe safety regulations and national legislation

  1. 3. Detach fuel supply line (2) with KM-796-A (1) from fuel rail
  1. 4. Remove cover - injectors (2) • Unscrew 2x bolts (1)
  1. 5. Disconnect 4x wiring harness plug, injectors (1) • Set wiring harness aside to the left
  2. 6. Unscrew 2x bolts (2)
  3. 7. Detach fuel rail (3) with injectors from intake manifold
  1. 8. Detach injectors • Detach 4 retaining clamps (4) • Pull 4 injector valves (2) out of fuel rail (1)
  2. 9. Replace 8 injector valve seal rings (3) • Coat gasket thinly with clean engine oil

Install

  1. 10. Attach injectors • Insert 4x injection valves • Attach 4x retaining clamps

Important. Groove in retaining clamp must engage with lug of injector (arrow)

  1. 11. Install fuel rail with injectors in intake manifold • Tighten 2x bolt 6 Nm
  2. 12. Connect 4 injection valve wiring harness plugs
  3. 13. Install cover - injectors • Tighten 2x bolts
  4. 14. Attach fuel supply line to fuel rail

Note. Connection must audibly engage

  1. 15. Install throttle valve module
