Replace Air Cleaner Housing Opel Corsa D

Remove

1. 1. Open bonnet
2. 2. Remove air cleaner housing • Unclip mass air flow meter wiring harness (arrow) • Detach air-flow sensor from air cleaner housing – Release clamp (2) • Detach water drain hose on air cleaner housing • Remove with resonance tube
3. 3. Detach air filter housing lid (1) • Unscrew 4x bolts • Remove air filter element

4. 4. Raise vehicle by half its height
5. 5. Remove right front wheelhouse front liner • Remove 8x body-bound rivet (1 and 3) • Unscrew 2x bolts (2)

6. 6. Remove resonator with intake duct to air filter

Install

7. 7. Install resonator (1) with intake duct to air filter (2) • Attach resonance pipe (3) to intake duct to air filter – Clip in resonator at the bottom (arrow)

Note. Incorrect air duct assembly can lead to noise problems. Removal of the right front wheelhouse front liner must be carried out without fail as this is the only way to ensure correct assembly of the air duct.

8. 8. Lower vehicle by half its height
9. 9. Attach air filter housing lid • Insert air filter element • Tighten 4x bolts
10. 10. Install air cleaner housing • Attach water drain hose to air cleaner housing • Attach resonance pipe to air cleaner housing • Attach air flow sensor to air cleaner housing – Tighten clamp • Clip in mass air flow meter wiring harness

Note. Through wheel housing

11. 11. Raise vehicle by half its height
12. 12. Install right front wheelhouse front liner • Install 8 expanding rivets • Tighten 2x bolts
13. 13. Lower vehicle by half its height
14. 14. Close bonnet
