Engine Oil Pressure Check (Without Air Conditioning) Opel Agila B

Remove

1. 1. Raise vehicle
2. 2. Remove oil pressure switch (1) from engine • Place collecting container below • Disconnect harness connector (2)

Measure

3. 3. Install Adapter KM-498-50 to engine
4. 4. Install Fluid Pressure Gauge KM-498-B to Adapter KM-498-50
5. 5. Lower vehicle

Important. Ensure the engine is at normal operating temperature before checking the engine oil pressure.

6. 6. Measure engine oil pressure at 4000 rpm • Start engine • Raise engine speed to 4000 rpm • Oil pressure is within specification if recorded pressure is 300 — 500 kPa (Min.)

Note. 2x technician are required.

7. 7. Stop engine
8. 8. Raise vehicle
9. 9. Remove Fluid Pressure Gauge KM-498-B from Adapter KM-498-50
10. 10. Remove Adapter KM-498-50 from engine

Install

11. 11. Install oil pressure switch (1) to engine 13 Nm • Apply suitable sealant to threads of oil pressure switch • Connect harness connector (2)

12. 12. Lower vehicle
