Engine Bridge Assembly EN-47649 Install and Remove Opel Agila B

Install

  1. 1. For vehicles with D13A or Z13DTJ engine, remove cover (1) from engine • Remove 4x bolt
  1. 2. For vehicles with D13A or Z13DTJ engine, disconnect hose (5) from mass air flow (MAF) meter (6) • Release clip
  2. 3. For vehicles with D13A or Z13DTJ engine, disconnect harness connector (3) from MAF meter
  3. 4. For vehicles with D13A or Z13DTJ engine, disconnect hose (1) from air cleaner assembly • Release from clip
  4. 5. For vehicles with D13A or Z13DTJ engine, remove air cleaner assembly (2) from vehicle • Remove 2x bolt (4) • Release 2x locator from battery tray – Pull up
  1. 6. For vehicles with D13A or Z13DTJ engine, release coolant compensation tank hose from upper front panel • Release clip
  2. 7. Change feet of Engine Bridge EN-47649 (1) • Remove 2x Engine Bridge Feet EN-47649-200 (2) – Remove 4x bolt, 2x nut • Install 2x Engine Bridge Feet EN-47649-100 (3) – Install 4x bolt, 2x nut
  1. 8. Set Engine Bridge EN-47649 to correct width • Dimension 'X' = 1380 mm – Rotate nut (1)
  1. 9. Install clamping support (3) to Longitudinal Bar EN-47650-20 (1) • Remove end cap (2) – Remove screw • Slide on • Install end cap – Install screw
  1. 10. Install longitudinal bar (2) to Crossbar EN-47650-010 (1) • Remove screw (3) from crossbar • Slide on
  1. 11. Install 2x Height Spindle EN-47650-040 (1) to crossbar • Slide on
  1. 12. Install clamping support (3) to longitudinal bar (1) • Remove end cap (2) – Remove screw • Slide on • Install end cap – Install screw
  1. 13. Install longitudinal bar (2) to crossbar (1) • Slide on • Install screw (3)
  2. 14. Remove 2x retaining hook (5) from 2x height spindle • Remove 2x knurled wheel (4)
  1. 15. Install 2x Rear Adaptor Support EN-47650-200 (2) to 2x longitudinal bar • Install 2x pin (4) • Install 4x bolt (1)

Note. 2x rear adaptor support must be installed to correct sides as marked.

  1. 16. Lower 2x height spindle (3) to lowest position
  1. 17. Set Carrier Frame EN-47650 to correct dimensions • Dimension A = 1345 mm • Dimension B = 390 mm • Dimension C = 255 mm • Dimension D = maximum

Important. Ensure that 2x plastic pad are correctly orientated to prevent paint damage.

  1. 18. Install 2x Plastic Pad EN-47650-200-6/1 (1) to front panel • Locate on 2x bolt (2)

Important. Ensure that rubber feet of 2x rear adaptor support and 2x height spindle are located correctly to prevent paint damage. Ensure that 2x plastic pad (4) are correctly orientated. Adjust position of carrier frame as necessary.

  1. 19. Locate carrier frame (1) to vehicle

Note. 2x technician are required.

  1. 20. Prepare 2x Retaining Post EN-47650-200-4/5 (7) for installation • Remove 2x Lower Clamp EN-47650-200-3 (5) – Remove 2x butterfly nut (6)
  2. 21. Install 2x Retaining Post EN-47650-200-4/5 (7) to 2x height spindle (3) • Install 2x knurled wheel (2)

Note. The Retaining Post EN-47650-200-4 is installed to the left side of the vehicle. The Retaining Post EN-47650-200-5 is installed to the right side of the vehicle.

Note. Use 2x knurled wheel previously removed from 2x retaining hook.

  1. 22. Install 2x Retaining Post EN-47650-200-4/5 (7) to front panel • Install 2x Lower Clamp EN-47650-200-3 (5) through 2x hole in front panel – Secure with 2x butterfly nut
  1. 23. Install 2x Holder Rail EN-47650-050 (1) to 2x longitudinal bar (2) • Secure with 2x pin (3)
  1. 24. Install engine bridge (1) to carrier frame • Locate to correct position in 2x holder rail (2) • Secure with 2x locking pin (3)

Note. 2x technician are required.

Remove

  1. 25. Remove Engine Bridge EN-47649 (1) from Carrier Frame EN-47650 • Remove 2x locking pin (3) from 2x Holder Rail EN-47650-050 (2)

Note. 2x technician are required.

  1. 26. Remove 2x holder rail (1) from 2x Longitudinal Bar EN-47650-020 (2) • Remove 2x pin (3)
  1. 27. Release 2x Retaining Clamp EN-47650-200-4/5 (7) from front panel • Remove 2x lower clamp (5) – Remove 2x butterfly nut (6)
  2. 28. Remove 2x retaining clamp from 2x Height Spindle EN-47650-040 (3) • Remove 2x knurled wheel (2)
  3. 29. Remove carrier frame (1) from vehicle

Note. 2x technician are required.

  1. 30. Remove 2x Plastic Pad EN-47650-200-6/1 (4) from front panel
  1. 31. Remove 2x Rear Adaptor Support EN-47650-200 (2) from 2x longitudinal bar • Remove 4x bolt (1) • Remove 2x pin (3)
  1. 32. Install 2x retaining hook (5) to 2x height spindle • Install 2x knurled wheel (4)
  2. 33. Remove longitudinal bar (2) from Crossbar EN-47650-010 (1) • Remove screw (3) • Slide off
  1. 34. Remove clamping support (3) from longitudinal bar (1) • Remove end cap (2) – Remove screw • Slide off • Install end cap – Install screw
  1. 35. Remove 2x height spindle (1) from crossbar • Slide off
  1. 36. Remove longitudinal bar (2) from crossbar (1) • Slide off
  2. 37. Install screw (3) to crossbar
  1. 38. Remove clamping support (3) from longitudinal bar (1) • Remove end cap (2) – Remove screw • Slide off • Install end cap – Install screw
  1. 39. Change feet of engine bridge (1) • Remove 2x Engine Bridge Feet EN-47649-100 (3) – Remove 4x bolt, 2x nut • Install 2x Engine Bridge Feet EN-47649-200 (2) – Install 4x bolt, 2x nut
  1. 40. For vehicles with D13A or Z13DTJ engine, secure coolant compensation tank hose to upper front panel • Secure clip
  2. 41. For vehicles with D13A or Z13DTJ engine, install air cleaner assembly (2) to vehicle • Push down to secure 2x locator to battery tray • Install 2x bolt (4)
  3. 42. For vehicles with D13A or Z13DTJ engine, connect hose (5) to mass air flow MAF meter (6) • Secure clip
  4. 43. For vehicles with D13A or Z13DTJ engine, connect harness connector (3) to MAF meter
  5. 44. For vehicles with D13A or Z13DTJ engine, connect hose (1) to air cleaner assembly • Secure to clip
  1. 45. For vehicles with D13A or Z13DTJ engine, install cover (1) to engine • Install 4x bolt 8 Nm
