Verification of Vehicle Repair

  1. Connect GDS and select "Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs)" mode and then clear DTC.
  2. Operate the vehicle and monitor the DTC on the GDS.
  3. Are any DTCs present? YES Go to the applicable troubleshooting procedure. NO System is performing to specification at this time.

Monitor GDS Data

  1. Ignition ON & Engine OFF.
  2. Connect GDS to Data Link Connector (DLC).
  3. Select "Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs)" mode and monitor "DTC Status" parameter.
  4. Clear recorded DTC using GDS.
  5. Ignition switch OFF <--> Ignition switch ON 2~3 times and Select "Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs)" mode and monitor "DTC Status" parameter.
  6. Is the DTC present? YES PCM/TCM's ROM or DATA is changed by reprogram illegally. Substitute with a known-good PCM/TCM and check for proper operation. If the problem is corrected, replace PCM/TCM and then go to " «VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR»(ref-424852-S16665406672011100100000) " procedure. NO Fault is intermittent caused by poor contact of PCM/TCM and DTC was not cleared. Thoroughly check connectors for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage.   4. Engine speed up to about 2000rpm and check Input speed (PG-A)&Output speed (PG-B) are within specific at 2nd speed of gear. Specification Output speed > (input speed+200rpm)/2nd. gear ratio Output speed < (input speed-200rpm)/2nd. gear ratio
