According to vehicle, the diagnostic equipment to be used is different

  • DIAG 2000: all vehicles
  • TEP 92: all vehicles, up to and including the launch of the 206
  • BIP 722: all vehicles

DIAG 2000

Enables

  • Identification
  • Fault reading
  • Parameter measurements
  • Erasing the faults
  • The actuator test
  • Following the diagnostics flow charts for each fault or each customer complaint (symptom)

The harness tester permits

  • Measurements on electrical circuits (automatic, semi-automatic and manual measurements)
  • Simulation of component operation

These tests are linked to the diagnostics flow charts but can also be carried out independently

According to vehicle, connection is to: the central socket 16V.NR

For electrical checks use adapter(s) 88V.GR (reference C-1224-Z)

Peugeot on-board fault recorder (TEP 92)

  • The advance adjustment

Connection is to: centralised socket 16V.NR

Peugeot electrical break-out box (B.I.P. 722)

  • Measurements on electrical circuits

Connection to the control unit 1320, the 88V.GR adapter must be used (reference C-1224-Z)

Connection to the double relay 1304, use: black and white 2 x 15 way adaptor (reference 9799-95)
