How to Replace the Engine Stabiliser, Lower Opel Vivaro A

DOHC Petrol Engine 2 illustrations ~114 words

Remove

  1. 1. Raise vehicle
  2. 2. Remove engine and transmission undershield from vehicle
  3. 3. Remove lower engine torque stabiliser • Release stabiliser from subframe – Remove bolt (2)

Note. Engine may require slight movement when removing bolt.

  1. 4. Release stabiliser from support bracket • Remove bolt (1)

Install

  1. 5. Install new lower engine stabiliser • Loosely install bolt (2); do not tighten at this stage • Secure stabiliser to support bracket – Install bolt (1) 180 Nm • Secure stabiliser to subframe – Tighten bolt (2) 100 Nm

Note. Engine may require slight movement when installing bolt.

  1. 6. Install engine and transmission undershield to vehicle
  2. 7. Lower vehicle
