Vivaro for MY 2007 is offered with a choice of five engine variants:
- G9U 630 DOHC turbocharged diesel engine, 107 kW
- M9R 780 (low output) DOHC turbocharged diesel engine, 66 kW
- M9R 780 (high output) DOHC turbocharged diesel engine, 84 kW
- F4R 820 DOHC petrol engine, 86 kW
- F9Q 760 OHC diesel engine, 74 kW
The G9U 630, M9R 780 and F4R 820 engines have been developed for Euro IV emission standards.
The F9Q 760 engine is carried over from earlier model years, but is for restricted areas only, where Euro IV emission standards are not mandatory.
