The F4R 820 petrol engine has been introduced for Vivaro MY 2007 to meet Euro IV emission standards. The F4R 820 engine is similar to the F4R 720 engine installed in earlier models, but has the following differences:
- Valeo JCAE S3000 engine management system
- New cylinder head
- New pistons
- New oil pump
