How to Replace the Pulley, High Pressure Pump Opel Vivaro A

Remove

  1. 1. Remove timing belt – see operation "Timing Belt, Replace"
  2. 2. Install Locking Tool KM-6239 to pulley for high pressure pump • Install 2x bolt (1)
  1. 3. Remove nut (1) from pulley for high pressure pump

Important. Ensure that Extractor KM-6240 (1) is installed correctly to prevent damage to the shaft of the high pressure pump.

  1. 4. Remove high pressure pump • Install Extractor KM-6240 (1) to pulley for high pressure pump • Rotate thrust bolt (2) of Extractor KM-6240 (1) until high pressure pump is released

Note. Locate tapered end of thrust bolt with recess in shaft of high pressure pump.

  1. 5. Remove Extractor KM-6240 and Locking Tool KM-6239 from pulley

Install

  1. 6. Install new pulley to high pressure pump • Install nut; do not tighten at this stage
  2. 7. Install Locking Tool KM-6239 to pulley for high pressure pump • Install 2x bolt (1)
  1. 8. Secure nut (1) 50 Nm for high pressure pump
  1. 9. Remove Locking Tool KM-6239 from pulley for high pressure pump • Remove 2x bolt
  2. 10. Install timing belt – see operation "Timing Belt, Replace"
