How to Replace the Oil Separator Opel Vivaro A

Remove

  1. 1. Remove engine cover insulation • Remove 3x bolt cover (1) • Remove 3x bolt
  1. 2. Remove oil dipstick
  2. 3. For vehicles up to MY2006, disconnect hose (1) from intercooler, then move to one side • Release bracket from upper front panel – Remove bolt • Release clip
  3. 4. For vehicles as of MY2007, remove pipe (2) from intercooler and intake manifold • Release 2x clip
  1. 5. Remove pipe from oil separator • Release 2x clip (1 and 2) – Move pipe to one side
  1. 6. Remove hose (1) from oil separator • Pull off
  2. 7. Remove hose (2) from oil separator • Pull off
  1. 8. Remove oil separator from engine • Remove 2x bolt (1)
  1. 9. Remove O ring (1) from oil separator

Install

  1. 10. Install O ring (1) to oil separator
  1. 11. Install oil separator to engine • Install 2x bolt (1)
  1. 12. Install hose (2) to oil separator • Push on
  2. 13. Install hose (1) to oil separator • Push on
  1. 14. Install pipe to oil separator • Secure 2x clip (1 and 2)
  1. 15. For vehicles up to MY2006, connect hose (1) to intercooler • Secure clip • Secure bracket to upper front panel – Install bolt
  2. 16. For vehicles as of MY2007, install pipe (2) to intake manifold and intercooler • Secure 2x clip
  1. 17. Install oil dipstick
  2. 18. Install engine cover insulation • Install 3x bolt • Install 3x bolt cover (1)
