How to Replace the Intake Manifold Pressure Sensor Opel Meriva A

Remove

  1. 1. Open bonnet
  2. 2. Disconnect battery • Detach ground clamp – Undo nut
  3. 3. Remove engine control unit • Disconnect 2x wiring harness plugs of engine control unit (1)

Note. When replacing or exchanging the engine control unit, the security code must be reset using TECH 2 before removal - see corresponding checking procedures

  1. 4. Detach engine control unit from intake manifold • Detach ground cable (2) – Unscrew bolt (1) • Unscrew 3 bolts (3)
  1. 5. Disconnect wiring harness plug of intake manifold pressure sensor (1)
  2. 6. Detach intake manifold pressure sensor (2) from intake manifold • Unscrew bolt

Install

  1. 7. Attach intake manifold pressure sensor to intake manifold • Tighten bolt 8 Nm
  2. 8. Connect wiring harness plug of intake manifold pressure sensor
  3. 9. Attach engine control unit to intake manifold • Tighten 3x bolts 8 Nm • Connect ground cable. – Tighten bolt 8 Nm • Connect 2x engine control unit wiring harness plugs
  4. 10. Connect battery • Attach ground clamp – Tighten nut
  5. 11. Program volatile memory
  6. 12. Close bonnet
